It depends. During your first visit to my office, we will discuss your health history, medications, lab reports, and lifestyle. I will conduct the necessary physical evaluation, form a diagnosis, and treat with acupuncture therapy. Then, I will create a treatment plan. Depending on how chronic your symptoms are, treatment may last as few as six sessions. Your progress and response to treatment guide it.

Today, acupuncturists do several diagnostic evaluations based on a patient’s pulse, tongue, facial presentation, voice, and overall physical presentation. The energy pathways the ancient mapped are then used to treat the imbalances and bring the patient into homeostasis.
